Short-Term Running Goals:

  • Staying healthy while recovering from Achilles tendonitis. It isn´t 100% perfect, but running an easy pace is possible 
  • running consistently in 2018, hopefully around 2000 miles
  • Run a marathon in fall 2018

Long-Term Running Goals:

  • Staying healthy
  • Repeating my mantra again and again: Think less, run more, train smart, race better!
  • Running a marathon in 2:59 in 2019
  • Therefore: Trying to implement more & more of Malmo´s Manifesto
  • Being listed in the Mileage Board for a full week... (-:

Couldn´t run because on an influenza which kept me one week completely in bed and one week to get back to normal health. Crazy, never had fever and shivers 7 days at a stretch...

Thank you Tom! Im very careful since I didnt get out of bed for a whole week. Will try a short jog at the coming weekend if things dont get worse again. then I had 2,5 weeks with no running at all...

Hope the aftermath of the flu doesnt sideline you too long. Just dont get out and rush a recovery from the flu to quickly, the flu has a tendency to come back on you when you try to return to your normal routine!!!!! Be well!
