Short-Term Running Goals:

  • Staying healthy while recovering from Achilles tendonitis. It isn´t 100% perfect, but running an easy pace is possible 
  • running consistently in 2018, hopefully around 2000 miles
  • Run a marathon in fall 2018

Long-Term Running Goals:

  • Staying healthy
  • Repeating my mantra again and again: Think less, run more, train smart, race better!
  • Running a marathon in 2:59 in 2019
  • Therefore: Trying to implement more & more of Malmo´s Manifesto
  • Being listed in the Mileage Board for a full week... (-:

Martin, first thing I suggest for that tired feeling is “Get some more sleep”. You are a young family man with a lot of pull from many directions in life and it’s tough to balance all of lifes nuances!

Tom, you are absolutly right. There were some nights that weren´t perfect. Also didn´t have a lot of free time the last weeks. Luckily I´m more relaxed now to keep it easy...

It´s all about life balance! (-: It will change when our new house is ready to move in. But it is important to keep on running so that I´m ready when there is more space for quality training again...
